Evann Tu is the captain and president at BASIS Silicon Valley. He is a geography specialist with knowledge also in history, visual fine arts, and sports trash.
In 2022, he finished 3rd overall internationally in the 8th Grade division of David Madden's International Geography Bee in Burlington, Vermont. Along with top scorer Grant Han and specialists Maggie Liu and Alexander Ma, he helped BASIS Silicon Valley to a t-65th finish at HSNCT 2024.
