Quizbowl stats, or statistics, are kept by individual tournaments to keep win-loss records, team scores, and individual scores. The proper keeping and posting of stats is an essential responsibility of the tournament director or his/her delegate at every tournament.
The dominant statkeeping program for quizbowl is SQBS, which is available for free. A similar program called Taft charged on a per-tournament basis during the late 2000s, including its use for the 2009 NSC, but has been discontinued.
SQBS has the ability to generate an HTML statistics report that can be posted online for public viewing during or after a tournament. ScoBo Tournament Central is a popular free service for hosting these reports.
