The West Virginia State Championship is a high school tournament ran by the WVACA. It is used to determine the official state champion of West Virginia.
A champion is crowned for each class, A, AA, and AAA (with AAA being the schools with the largest enrollments). These three teams would go through a playoff to determine the overall champion.
