Britney hails from the small town of Napanee, Ontario and began playing Reach for the Top in Grade 10, as well as Whiz Quiz. She joined the UOttawa trivia club in her first year of university and was elected president two years later. She was re-elected President for the 2010-2011 year, by a margin of one vote over teammate Brendan McKendy.
In May 2010 and 2011 she was a moderator at Reach for the Top Nationals held in Toronto.
As of June 2011, she has completed her BA in Français langue seconde with a minor in études françaises. As of July 15th 2011 she holds the position of secretary in the Ontario Quizbowl Association.
