Northwestern University is a large private university located in Evanston, Illinois. The Quizbowl Club hosts annual high school novice, high school, and middle school tournaments called Wake-Up Call, Wildcat, and Jr. WIldcat. It has also been the midwest mirror site for Penn Bowl in recent years.
Though the Northwestern Quizbowl Club was not involved, the 2011 NSC was hosted at the university, and PACE was criticized by many for the tournament's logistical issues.
