Phil Blessman is the head coach at Culver Academies, IN. He has been coaching high school quizbowl since 2000, serving as the head coach at the Latin School of Chicago (2000-2001), Conserve School (2002-2004) and Culver Academies (2004-present). He has led each of his teams to strong statewide finishes, including a 5th-place Illinois Class A finish with Latin in 2001, two Wisconsin state championships at Conserve School in 2003 and 2004, NAQT Indiana State Championships with Culver in 2005, 2009, and 2010, 2nd Place NAQT State finishes with Culver in 2006, 2007, and 2008, an Indiana NAC State Championship in 2009, and 2011 and 2012 Rotary Indiana Class AAA State Championships.
