February is a bad month for quiz bowl, with a number of scandals occurring.

2013- Announcement of Josh Alman's cheating at various 2012 events
It is also prone to snow storms which ruin or reschedule sites of NAQT SCT and ACF Regionals, perhaps the only two bright spots of the month.
