NACutie is a term referring to wordplay or cross-category giveaways in NAQT tossups.
In reference to the term, NACutie was also used to name an anonymous website (later revealed, in line with most assumptions, to be the product of various members of the Chicago team) which dispensed social advice to quizbowlers circa 2001. While Matt Weiner identified one of the bullet points in an update as being based on his injury-provoking theft of frozen custard at the 2001 ICT, the vast majority of the points (especially the ones about regular bathing and laundering) seem to have been directed at Andy Goss. A team at the 2004 TRASHionals played under the name "Death Cab for NACutie."
