Optimist Brain Bowl is a middle school quizbowl competition for Colorado and Wyoming middle school students. It is sponsored by the Optimist chapter of Wyoming and Colorado. There are three regional tournaments held to decide which teams qualify for the championship tournament.
Gameplay
The website claims inspiration from College Bowl, however there a number of differences. There are separate divisions for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Division placement is based on the oldest member of the team. As shown in the logo, there is a single "buzzer button" that each team uses. There is also a written round consisting of 50 multiple choice questions.
