The Conserve School is a private environmental studies semester school. The school fielded a quizbowl team from its founding in 2002 until 2009 the it become a non-degree granting semester institution. Under its founding coach, Phil Blessman, Conserve won Wisconsin State Championships in 2003 and 2004, and hosted several tournaments during these two seasons, drawing teams from as far as Milwaukee (Rufus King) and the Chicago suburbs (Maine South).
