The 2008 Saint Anthony Village Annual Neural Test (SAVANT III) was a quizbowl tournament that run on NAQT IS #73A at its namesake high school on February 16.
Format
SAVANT was run on the normal NAQT format with 34 teams in play, and 32 regular teams attending. The playoffs consisted of the top 16 teams playing single elimination games with seeding based on preliminary round records.
Results
Eden Prairie A defeated Chaska A in the finals to take first place, and Wayzata A and Edina A took third and fourth place respectively. The top scorer at the tournament was Sam Peterson of Chaska, and more extensive statistics can be found here
