Brain Bowl is a quizbowl competition organized by Southern Oregon University for high schools and middle schools in the region. It has been in continual existence since 1977. The winner of the annual championship is said to receive a bid to the "National Brain Bowl," a tournament which does not actually exist. They run on a non-pyramidal toss-up only format.
