The University of Kentucky is a college quiz bowl team. After an era of dominance in the early 2000s, it lay defunct until 2012, when it was revived by a group of players helped by Fred Morlan and Rahul Annabathula. They passed the torch to second generation in a process lasting from 2014 to 2016. The UK Quiz Bowl Team regularly hosts UK Fall and UK Spring Tournaments. They have a rivalry with the University of Lousiville.
