The questions are house written by coaches and high school students. The rounds consist of twenty tossups with related bonus and full consultation is allowed during tossups and bonuses. There are bounce-back bonuses but no powers or interruptions. The brackets are divided by 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade into groups of 8. There is not one champion. The Copley-Fairlawn Middle School Tournament is a tossup/bonus tournament hosted by Copley-Fairlawn Middle School since 2012 the second week of December. The tournament is hosted at Copley High School.

Format
