Scott Smith was a quiz bowl player for Edmond Memorial (1998-2001), Texas A&M (2001-2005), and again at Louisiana State University during law school (2011-2013). Scott was the captain of the 2002 ACF Nationals Division II championship team, which included Alex Metcalf, Rachel Campbell, and Nancy Mitchell. Scott also represented Texas A&M on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2002.
Currently, Scott is serving as an Assistant Attorney General in Louisiana and quiz bowl coach at Catholic of Pointe Coupee in New Roads, Texas. Scott is also a former writer for NAQT and NAC.
