CALI (California Academic Learning Initiative) was a high school regular difficulty tournament written by former members of the Arcadia quiz bowl team and their associated collegiate teams of UCSD and Amherst. It was head-edited by Jason Cheng, and featured contributions from Parikshit Chauhan, Kevin Wang, Corry Wang, and Eddie Kim. It had 15 mirror sites across the US.
The set was generally well-received for its consistent difficulty and quality.
