Florida State University is a public university located in Tallahassee, Florida. Their quiz bowl team was very active in the 2000s, but with the departure of its core members disappeared from the circuit for most of the 2010s. The program appears to have revived somewhat, playing Terrapin in 2016, three tournaments in 2018, and the online Delta Burke mirror in January 2020.
The old incarnation of the team was officially known as the "Brain Bowl" team. Major players included Billy Beyer and Matt Alford.
FSU's highest national finish was 10th in DI at the 2009 ICT.
