Cody Simons formerly played for MLK Magnet High School in Nashville, TN. He was nicknamed "Grumpy Boy" for his charming demeanor and not-so-occasional cursing by Nancy Howell, MLK's coach. He is Dallas Simons's brother.
High School
He was the lead scorer on the MLK B team at 2007 HSNCT and the second scorer on the MLK team that tied for 7th at 2008 HSNCT.
He was also the lead scorer on the 2009 HSNCT and 2010 HSNCT MLK teams that tied for 43rd and 65th.
