Unity Reed High School is located in Manassas in northern Virginia and is coached by Ramsey Freiland. Its assistant coach is Nathan Craddock. Unity Reed does not participate in the invitational circuit but is active in both VHSL and It's Academic.
In VHSL, Unity Reed was part of the VHSL Northwest Region until the 2014 VHSL Realignment. Between then and the 2018 VHSL Realignment, the school was part of VHSL Region 6A North. Starting with the 2017-18 season, Unity Reed will be part of VHSL Class 6 Region D.
Unity Reed won the VHSL Northwest Region tournament in 2013 and was runner-up in 2011. Unity Reed placed second at the 2014 VHSL Region 6A North tournament and was runner-up at the Class 6A VHSL State Championship. Unity Reed player Sarah Mueller was the third highest scoring player of the tournament with 290 points and became a member of the All-State team. Stonewall Jackson won the Conference 8 tournament in 2014 and 2015 and placed second in 2017.
