:There might be a way to condense it or just talk about samples, but it serves the purpose of demonstrating that all of these alternate-universe tournaments (allegedly) existed. One of the fascinating things about Academic Hallmarks is not only that they are the major form of a quizbowl-like activity in places such as Wyoming and Montana, but they also have these random events in major quizbowl states that seemingly no one has heard of. [1] One page 13 this catalog claims that Michigan QB uses "knowledge bowl" questions like the other KB states--Zachary Yan (talk) 16:11, 23 January 2014 (PST)
No, it says that Bryce Avery will sell Knowledge Bowl format questions to schools in Michigan. It doesn't say anything about the MSU Honors tournament which, even in the years when Academic Hallmarks supplied the questions, did not use Knowledge Bowl format. "In 2012-2013, the AH website listed the following events:"
This massive list of tournaments from almost a decade ago takes up a majority of the page. Is this really necessary? Eric Yin (talk) 19:11, 9 July 2021 (CDT)
- There might be a way to condense it or just talk about samples, but it serves the purpose of demonstrating that all of these alternate-universe tournaments (allegedly) existed. One of the fascinating things about Academic Hallmarks is not only that they are the major form of a quizbowl-like activity in places such as Wyoming and Montana, but they also have these random events in major quizbowl states that seemingly no one has heard of. - Yeah if anything more should be added here to the rest of this page; AH was one of the biggest players in quizbowl activities around the country/world and I think keeping this list (which can no longer be found on their website, though it may have been archived online somewhere) is useful for the reasons Matt mentioned.
