Mythology is a minor category of quizbowl questions that asks about myths, legends, and folklore. Most mythology questions typically focus on Greco-Roman mythology, though Norse, Egyptian, Celtic, Mesopotamian, Japanese, and Mesoamerican myth systems also get major air time and other myth systems (Polynesian, various African systems, Slavic folklore, Chinese, Native American, etc.) are also asked about from time to time.

ACF and most tournaments consider mythology to be a separate category or lump it in under RMP. In the NAQT distribution, mythology is under literature.

Notable mythology specialists include Seth Teitler and Matt Bollinger.
