The 1989 Minnesota team won CBI Nationals held at College of DuPage, IL.
They finished the double-elimination tournament 7-1, won the losers' bracket by avenging earlier defeat vs. Kent State, and defeated Georgia Tech in two consecutive games of an advantaged final to win the tournament title.
The team consisted of Matt Marta, Bruce Simmons, Pete Nickitas, and Brian Weikle.
