The National All-Star Academic Tournament (NASAT) is a national tournament where all-star teams from each state (or Canadian province) can participate.
The first NASAT was held on June 12–13, 2010 at Vanderbilt.
NASAT was run by High School Academic Pyramid Questions from 2010 through 2017. It is now run by International Quiz Bowl Tournaments.
NASAT is not the first tournament to use state all-star teams, since that is done by PAC/NTAE. However, it is the first tournament using all-star teams to feature pyramidal questions and one-on-one matches.
Since 2016, states have been allowed to enter more than one team (i.e., B teams).
2020 NASAT was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2021 NASAT was held online.
