Originally from Oklahoma, Caleb attended Norman North High School, which he led to its first NAQT Oklahoma State Championship title in 2014. The following year, Norman North repeated as state champions, and went on to place T-34th at that year's HSNCT and 21st at PACE NSC, with Caleb himself placing 11th and 6th in the overall individual rankings respectively. Caleb was named an Honorable Mention for that year's HSQBRank All-World Teams.
College
Caleb attended the University of Oklahoma for undergrad, where he, Maia Karpovich, and Finn Bender achieved several top bracket finishes at ICT and ACF Nationals, including claiming the Division II title at 2016 ACF Nationals and the Undergraduate title at 2017 ICT.
After graduating from Oklahoma, Caleb began a graduate program at Maryland.
