Drink Talk Learn (otherwise known as DTL) is an event created by Chlo Spinks and hosted primarily at Oxford Brookes University.
Commonly known as a Presentation Party, DTL is an opportunity for those attending to share interests that, otherwise, would rarely come up in conversation.
Those attending DTL do not have to bring a PowerPoint and do not have to drink alcohol but they do have to be respectful.
Notably, participants have traveled to attend DTL from the Universities of Oxford, Imperial, Bristol, and locations as far as Boston.
Rules
- PowerPoints must be on a topic that is not your degree
- Presentations should aim to run for no longer than 10 minutes
- DTL is a fun event and therefore is not a place for problematic or potentially problematic content
