North Shelby is a public high school in Shelbyville, Missouri, in the northeastern part of the state. The school won the first MAA Class 1 state championship in 1992 and again in 1994. North Shelby also won the small school title at the 2010 NAQT Missouri Qualifier.
North Shelby won the school's first MSHSAA State Championship in 2021, in their seventeenth appearance out of twenty-five MSHSAA state championships to date. After finishing second behind St. Elizabeth in 2022, they eliminated the defending champions in the quarterfinals enroute to winning the 2023 MSHSAA State Championship.
