Michael is a member of the [[Thomas Jefferson (VA)]] Quizbowl team. He is popular with fans and amateurs who share an interest in the floral patterns preferred in the Oriental regions. After boasting about being the best science player in the country, he legendarily posted -25 points on the Protobowl Science lobby. Michael later claimed to have never partook in this event, despite the existence of many pieces of evidence and eyewitnesses. He is also co-captain under Czar Ryan.
