They are a notable pyramidal team that stopped playing in Chip Beall's National Academic Championship and transitioned to good quizbowl in 2012 under the leadership of Grace Liu. High Tech A finished 5th place at PACE NSC in 2014, 4th in 2015, and 5th in 2019. High Tech has won the last six NAQT New Jersey State Championships in a row.
