Mahomet-Seymour High School is a public high school located just west of Champaign, Illinois. Mahomet-Seymour notably hosted the IHSA State Championship in Illinois scholastic bowl's earliest days during the 1980s. Today, it competes in Class AA, the "large school" division, of the Illinois High School Association’s State Championship Series. The Bulldogs also compete in the Apollo Conference.

In 2003, Mahomet-Seymour became embroiled in controversy. One of the students thought that he belonged on Team Illinois, and the school unsuccessfully tried to involve the IHSA and threatened to use lawyers. On an internet forum, the student threatened to send David Riley lots of spam. The team had won its IHSA Sectional that year and advanced to State, where its first match was against Stevenson. IHSA, in its infinite wisdom, ran the questions through a spell checker which changed the answer to a bonus part from Gulf of Salamis to Gulf of Salami. After a Stevenson protest was denied due to an IHSA rule that you had to prove your protest in two minutes in a venue that did not have an internet connection, Mahomet-Seymour won by one point. Mahomet-Seymour then lost to New Trier and Wheaton North and went home.
