Ames High School is a public high school in Iowa. Its quiz bowl team won the 2008 NAQT Iowa State Championship and took second at the 2009 NAQT Iowa State Championship. NAQT Chief Technical Officer R. Robert Hentzel attended Ames. Ames also won the Iowa State Championship in 2011, 2023, and 2024.
