Preliminary Standings

1 Parkway Central 2-1 935 pts.
2 Liberty 2-1 890 pts.
3 Webb City 2-1 845 pts.
4 SLUH 2-1 830 pts.
5 Kirksville 2-1 805 pts.
6 Eureka 1-2 950 pts.
7 Raytown South 1-2 845 pts.
8 Hannibal 0-3 535 pts.

The Class 4 preliminary rounds resulted in some unusual results. The top 5 teams each went 2-1, which precluded Kirksville from making the playoffs simply because they scored the fewest number of points. This highlights some of the flaws with MSHSAA's current system, including having a pre-determined preliminary schedule based on district without a full round robin, and tie-breaking teams with the same record by points in the case where one does not make the playoffs.

Also note that the highest-scoring team, Eureka, lost its first and third matches by 10 and 5 points, respectively.

Semifinals

(1) Parkway Central 365, (4) SLUH 330

(2) Liberty 360, (3) Webb City 240

Consolation

(4) SLUH 310, (3) Webb City 230

Championship

(1) Parkway Central 310, (2) Liberty 255
