Before the 2010-2011 season, Fort Zumwalt West was widely recognized to be perhaps the most promising team. However, Fort Zumwalt West Coach [[Jeremy Gibbs]] resigned after the 2009-2010 season, as Becraft had been pushing for the team to attend more [[good quizbowl]] tournaments. As a result, Dylan was unable to find a new coach, and one of the most talented players in the state was unable to play for his junior and senior years.
