The VCU College Bowl High School Invitational was a tournament held in the spring by the archaic age incarnation of the VCU team. It took place from 1986 to 1988. It used strict College Bowl rules and game format, which means it probably bought questions through the High School Bowl program.

The 1988 all-star team was Vince Camacho of Courtland, Billy Baxter and Eric Biber of Collegiate, and Atul Keshap and Erik Gray of St. Anne's.
