The NAQT Delaware Championship is a high school quizbowl state championship tournament. The host rotates, but is often kept in northern Delaware where a majority of the quizbowl teams are located.
This tournament was once held around January or February, which is earlier than most NAQT state tournaments . This was because the Comcast Academic Challenge used to be during the month of February, and the Blue Hen is usually held in March. The 2005 state tournament was canceled when Comcast announced, without warning, that it was moving its taping schedule to Saturdays.
