The 2002 team from Central-Macon attended the NAC Malibu Region, where it made the tournament semifinals and was named co-"Rookie of the Year," with St. Thomas. The NAC roster was Wendell Parker, Justin Bell, Jonathan Prisant, Rebecca Quesenberry, Jayanthi Narain, Noah Mink, Kricket Davis, and Balaji Narain. Coached by Stan Brown.
Earlier in the year, the team won the Class AAA GATA State Tournament.
