Career
Middle school
As a student at The Evergreen School, Andrew competed in the National Geographic Bee, ultimately winning the Washington State title in 2014 and losing on tiebreakers at nationals for a shared 11th place.
High school
Andrew was recruited to Lakeside's team by then-captain Eric Zhou and helped revive Lakeside's quizbowl program after the graduation of Kyle Haddad-Fonda. He helped introduce them to National History Bee and Bowl and was responsible for renaming the club from "Knowledge Bowl" to "Quizbowl". He was a proponent of using Protobowl and Quinterest for studying.
