The National Humanities Bee is an individual buzzer-played competition on questions solely on literature, mythology, philosophy, religion, art and music. In gameplay, there are 5-10 players who each have a buzzer. If a player gets a question, they recieve a point. If a person gets 7 points, they will be "out", meaning they can no longer buzz in and they will receive a certain number of bonus points depending on which question they go out on. There are 30 questions per round. If there are three incorrect interrupts, all of which are while the question is being read, the question will go dead and the player who buzzed incorrectly third during the question will receive -1. If the third incorrect interrupt is after the question has been finished, there will be no penalty and the question will go dead. It is a piece of [[USABB]].
