North Carolina (or UNC, or officially The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) is a collegiate quizbowl program located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

History

Many players at UNC have written for or edited ARCADIA. The trash set GFUEL was written solely by players or alumni.

2020-21 Season

A team of Vincent Du, Grant Peet, Kevin Thomas, and Henry Goff would place T-10th at ACF Nationals, after only qualifying for the event after some other teams declined entry.

2021-22 Season

UNC's A team, consisting of Vincent Du, Grant Peet, Kevin Thomas, and Henry Goff, tied for 9th place alongside Chicago A at ACF Nationals, while their B team, Vittal Bhat, Jim Fan, Jonathan Shauf, and Michael Bucknall placed T-23rd.

2022-23 Season

UNC's team of Vincent Du, Ivvone Zhou, Jim Fan, and Jonathan Shauf finished 17th at the 2023 ICT. A team of Anish Kodali, Graham Troy, Chris Sousounis, and Evan Violette finished 18th in D2. A team of Vincent Du, Jim Fan, Vittal Bhat, and Jonathan Shauf finished 15th at 2023 ACF Nationals.

2023-24 Season

The A team of Vincent Du, Jim Fan, Jonathan Shauf, and Benjamin McAvoy-Bickford finished 3rd at 2024 ACF Nationals. The B team of Rasheeq Azad, Ivvone Zhou, Graham Troy, and Eric Gunter finished T-38.
