The seeds for the team were planted when George Berry forgot to apply for college. Oops. Eventually, he met up with Dan Goff and actually got a team together and played in tournaments.
George led the team to victory at the 2009 NAQT Community College Championship Tournament at Valencia. This took an atypically long time for NAQT to report, with results not posted for several weeks.
The team experienced a brief resurgence when Matt Weiner attended for a single year in 2014; a team of Berry and Weiner placed third in both SCT and Regionals and ultimately placed 7th at 2014 ICT.
