Ben Russell Jones, also known as Ben R. Jones, is a player for the University of Edinburgh. A native of South Wales, Ben is a philosophy student, and is known for his knowledge of literature, frequent use of expletives, and a hatred of science tossups. Ben made up the core of Edinburgh's A team with fellow generalist Nicholas Winter until 2023. He is sometimes humorously known in UK quiz circles by the nickname Bridge.
