Conserve School fielded a quizbowl team from its founding in 2002 until the four-year school closed in 2009 to become a non-degree granting semester institution. Under its founding coach, [[Phil Blessman]], Conserve won Wisconsin State Championships in 2003 and 2004, and hosted several tournaments during these two seasons, drawing teams from as far as Milwaukee ([[Rufus King]]) and the Chicago suburbs ([[Maine South]]). Conserve was also able to win two major Illinois Frosh/Soph tournaments in 2004. The Eagles also attended NAQT HSNCT in 2003 and 2004. At the [[2004 HSNCT]] the Eagles had the curious honor of being the 5-5 team with the highest PP20TUH average. From 2004-2009, Conserve was coached by Paul McLeod.
