Micah Hodosh was a player at the University of Illinois, where he studied Computer Science. Although he continued at UIUC until receiving his PhD in 2015, his collegiate quizbowl career ended in 2010. His encyclopedic knowledge of video games and random knowledge of old TV shows made him a highly skilled trash player. He demonstrated this video game knowledge during an impressive shellacking of the field at Jeremy Eaton's video game tournament TIDUS.
