The Chicago Open Literature tournament, often called Chicago Open Lit or CO Lit, is a common side event on the weekend of Chicago Open, usually consisting of all-tossup, all-literature packets at ACF Nationals-difficulty or higher. Formats have varied from doubles to just plain quads.
Editors:
- 2008: Jonathan Magin et al.
- 2009: Matt Weiner
- 2010: Ike Jose. Because the event started so late, only six of a planned fourteen rounds were played and the rest were shelved as a side event for VCU Open.
The event was not continued for 2011 Chicago Open.
