After losing their opening match to rival Marian 305-350 the team won their next seven games to finish second in the regular season. Seeded second in the post season tournament Saint Joseph defeated Mishawaka and Clay to earn a rematch against Marian in the championship game. The championship game saw the best team effort of the season, and Saint Joseph won 430-230 earning the school its second straight tournament title.

The team went 4-0 in the preliminary rounds to earn the second seed going into the playoffs. It won its quarterfinal match against University, but was eliminated in the semifinals by Fishers and earned 3rd place. Nicholas Wawrykow was the tournament's leading scorer.

A freshman/sophomore team consisting of Wilson, Davide, Nolan, and Joey won the state championship by going 9-0 in the preliminary rounds and by  coming back to defeat Culver A 260-255 in the final.

Saint Joseph High School (formerly Saint Joseph's High School) is a catholic high school in South Bend, Indiana. It competes in the St. Joseph Valley League, and is a rival of both Culver Academies and Harrison. Previously a patron of Chip Beall's NAC the school stopped attending it in 2007 when the captain Arnav Dutt was hosed one too many times. Consequently the school has started to attend more good quizbowl tournaments

2011-2012

This was one of the most successful and active teams in school history, winning the league playoffs, finishing 3rd at the State tournament. However, the team failed to make the playoffs at HSNCT only going 5-5 on Saturday.
