Jared McNett is a former quizbowl player for Truman State. He served for 2 years as the President of ACO, taking over from Hank Kimbrough in Fall 2010. Justin Bayer succeeded him as President in the Fall of 2012.

Playing History

Jared has already had experience competing for a national championship. In the 2010 season, he and fellow teammates Kevin Robb and Kevin Lang placed 24th at the 2010 NAQT ICT after Hank Kimbrough was unable to attend the event. In addition to this, he has also played on strong Truman A teams at events like 2010 ACF Fall, 2011 NAQT Midwest SCT, and 2011 MUT at Rock Bridge.

Jared was also involved in writing questions for the 2010 Truman Bowl II, a house-written set.

Other Involvement

Jared also hosts a radio show on 88.7 the Edge, Truman State's online and throughout campus radio network.
