Could you please provide an example of a complete JML document?
I think the article would be more concise if you left out the commonalities between JML and QBML and only mentioned how they differ. I would also consider annotating a DTD (or XSD), or a graphic, to avoid the wordy "<x>
may contain one or more <y>
" peppered throughout. —Ophir Lifshitz (talk) 07:18, 13 March 2013 (PDT)
- Thank you for your interest.
- I can certainly go ahead and markup a packet. The issue (if I post it here) is compatibility of the copyrights on questions in a packet with QBWiki's CC-BY-NC-SA license. Once I have gotten something I am happy with, I can certainly post a DTD or a graphic. (By the way, if you have any suggestions for improvement, please feel free to let me know.) - I haven't looked too closely at your spec, so I don't have specific suggestions right now.
- I played with making my own quizbowl ML some 5+ years ago, you can see it here (entirely untouched for years). At first glance it's pretty similar to yours, ignoring differences in tag names. There's a packet except with some XSLT (nothing too fancy, nostalgic as hell though), a DTD, an XSD, and some (pseudo-graphical) documentation. —Ophir Lifshitz (talk) 06:18, 14 March 2013 (PDT)
