London Central is a public secondary school in London, Ontario.
Reach for the Top
In 2007, London Central won all of its games at the Ontario Reach for the Top provincial championships, advancing easily to the national championship in Edmonton, Alberta. At Nationals, they again won all their matches, defeating Kennebecasis in the final. Much of their success was due to the phenomenal play of their captain Peter Burton.
In 2009, London Central went on to win both the 2009 Reach for the Top Ontario Finals and the 2009 Reach for the Top Nationals. London Central came 3rd at Ontario Provincials in 2011. In 2012, London Central went on to come second in both the 2012 Reach for the Top Ontario Finals and the 2012 Reach for the Top Nationals, losing to UTS both times. London Central won the 2014 Reach for the Top Provincials by defeating Martingrove
SmartAsk!
In the 2003-04 season of SmartAsk!, London Central defeated eventual Reach champions St. George's in the second round. They were then eliminated in the following round.
