George Washington High School (GWHS) is a public high school in Charleston, West Virginia. GWHS is home to the top finishing high school quiz bowl team in West Virginia history. 2014's George Washington A is the only team in West Virginia history to qualify for the playoffs at NAQT's HSNCT, finishing t-13th. The same 2014 GWHS A also finished t-9th at NHBB Nationals, and 57th at PACE NSC.
George Washington High School also owns the record for the most state titles in West Virginia history with four (2000, 2002, 2003, 2014).
