ASS or The Atlantic Seaboard Skirmish was a themed trash tournament written and held at Maryland in 2007. It should not be confused with the Andy Sedaris Spectacular that took place in the mid '90s at Maryland. The head editor for the tournament was Mike Bentley, while other Maryland members such as Jonathan Magin, Casey Retterer, Brittany Clark, Jeremy Eaton, Jeff Amoros and David Vatz submitted questions and did some editing. The stated purpose of the tournament was to provide trash that was more accessible to undergraduates by using a higher distribution than TRASH in recent pop culture and areas like videogames and Internet trash.

Results

Due to the themed nature of the rounds, every team was somewhat vulnerable to playing against someone else's niche category. As a result, every team lost at least two rounds during the tournament.
