Though posting a lackluster performance that day by going 1-6, quizbowl at Fairview was effectively brought out of the "dark ages" by the hope shown in the team's players. |

Fairview High School is a 9-12 public high school in northeast Cullman county, Alabama. The school's scholar's bowl team is coached by Eric Vest. The club president is Brett Hogan. Fairview was only active in Cullman County Scholar Bowl for a number of years until May 14, 2016, when, at the urgence of team captain Brett Hogan, the quizbowl team competed in the West Point Rainwater Invitational, which was the squad's first time playing outside of its mediocre circuit in over six years.
